Where can I buy a ticket and what payment methods are accepted?

The easiest way to purchase your ticket is online through our website. In this case, only card payments are accepted.
If you prefer to buy your ticket in person, you can do so in advance at UD Shop in Debrecen (Egyetem tér 1., Learning Center). Here, you can also pay with any SZÉP card.
We will provide details about our temporary ticket points set up in the weeks before the festival at a later date.
On-site, after the ticket office opens, you can buy tickets using a bank card, cash, or exclusively an OTP SZÉP card (purchases are possible from all sections of the card).

I haven't received my ticket via email. What should I do?

Don't worry, we can resend it. In this case, please send the following details to info@campusfesztival.hu, and we will assist you:

  • Name used for ticket purchase
  • Email address used for ticket purchase
  • Transaction ID

What types of tickets are available?

You can find the currently available ticket types under the "Tickets" section. We announce newly available ticket types on our website and social media platforms, so stay tuned!

Are part-time students eligible for the University of Debrecen student/employee discounted ticket?

Yes, part-time students of the University of Debrecen are eligible for discounted tickets. At the entrance, they must present proof of student status or a student ID with a valid sticker. In this case, you can only purchase a pass for yourself (not for family members or friends).

Debrecen City Card and Debrecen Junior Card – is there a difference?

Holders of the Debrecen Junior City Card are also entitled to purchase the discounted ticket available with the Debrecen City Card.

I live nearby. Can I buy a discounted ticket?

If your permanent address is on the "neighboring streets" list, you are eligible for a discounted ticket. At the entrance, you must present a valid ID and address card together to verify eligibility. It is crucial that only those whose permanent address appears on the list of neighboring streets are entitled to the discounted ticket. 

What does the VIP ticket include?

VIP ticket benefits: fast-track entry, access to the VIP area, VIP bar, exclusive VIP restrooms, and a VIP viewing platform.

I purchased the wrong type of ticket. What should I do?

Unfortunately, we cannot exchange or refund tickets in this case. We recommend uploading your ticket to TicketSwap so someone else can enjoy it. TicketSwap is a leading secondary ticket resale platform where individuals can buy and sell tickets. TicketSwap is our official secondary ticketing partner.

Can I transfer my previously purchased ticket to someone else?

Generally, yes, as we check the barcode at the entrance. One person can buy multiple tickets/passes, which are linked to the user at the ticket exchange point. After that, transfers are not possible. However, there are some exceptions:

  • For student passes, we check the University of Debrecen’s valid student ID or proof of student status.
  • For "Neighbor" tickets, a valid address card must be presented (the permanent address must be on the "Neighboring Streets" list).
  • For Debrecen City Card holders, only the cardholder can use the ticket.
  • Employee passes of the University of Debrecen are non-transferable and can only be used by the person holding a valid UniPass card and/or employer certification.

My ticket says "partner ticket." Can I enter the festival with it?

Yes, you can. TicketSwap labels tickets this way, but it does not affect entry.

Can minors enter Campus Festival? From what age does my child need a ticket?

Children under 14 can only attend the Campus Festival with a parent or guardian. A ticket is required from the age of 10.

I want to exchange my ticket for a wristband. How can I do that?

Ticket exchange information is updated before the festival. Typically, ticket-to-wristband exchanges happen at multiple locations in the city. Please note that daily tickets can only be exchanged on the corresponding event day.

How can people with disabilities or chronic illnesses attend the festival?

People with disabilities or chronic illnesses can attend the event for free if they have a card issued by the Hungarian State Treasury confirming their status. It is important to note that in this case, the person can only attend with a companion. The ticket type granted to the attendee will match that of the companion. For wheelchair users, unfortunately, due to safety regulations, it is not possible to provide a spot inside the barriers during concerts. However, experience shows that fellow attendees are considerate of wheelchair users, and the security team ensures they can enjoy the concert smoothly.

What documents are required for entry?

During the entry process, everyone entering the festival must go through the so-called ID Check system. This means that each attendee’s ID will be linked to their wristband. Therefore, make sure to bring your valid ID card or passport.
Additionally:

  • For University of Debrecen student passes, a student ID with a valid semester sticker or proof of student status is required.
  • For University of Debrecen employee passes, a valid photo UniPass card and/or employer certification must be presented.
  • For tickets purchased with the Debrecen City Card, you must present the Debrecen City Card / Junior City Card along with your ID.
  • For Neighbor Tickets, both an ID and address card must be presented. Only those whose permanent address appears on the list of Neighboring Streets defined by Campus Festival are eligible for Neighbor Tickets, and this must be verified on the address card.

I want to exchange my ticket for a wristband. How can I do that?

Ticket exchange information is updated before the festival. Generally, ticket-to-wristband exchanges take place at multiple locations throughout the city. Please note that daily tickets can only be exchanged on the specific day they are valid for.

What items are prohibited at the festival?

You are not allowed to bring items that pose a threat to personal safety or public security, including but not limited to fireworks, rockets, any type of pyrotechnic devices, blunt or sharp weapons, glass objects, and alcoholic beverages. Keep in mind that possession and consumption of substances classified as drugs are illegal in Hungary. Additionally, conducting commercial or advertising activities within the festival grounds is strictly prohibited.

What can I use to pay at the festival?

The Campus Festival is completely cashless. You can pay with any bank card, and we also accept UniPass cards.
If you only have cash, don’t worry. You can exchange it for a UniPass card at the festival, onto which you can load money on-site, and use it for payments.
However, it is not possible to pay with SZÉP Cards within the festival grounds!

How does the UniPass system work?

If you arrived at the festival with only cash, you have the option to get a UniPass card. The card deposit is 500 HUF. There are designated top-up points which can easily be found on the festival map.
Any unused money on the card can be refunded at the designated top-up points during the Campus Festival's opening hours. On the last day of the festival, there will also be an opportunity for refunds at the location. Further information can be found at the top-up points and in the on-site informational materials.

Can I bring food / drinks to the festival?

Non-commercial quantities of food are allowed to be brought into the festival grounds. You can bring mineral water (up to 6 unopened 1.5-liter bottles per person), as well as your own empty water bottle, which you can refill at several points inside the festival.

How can I find the food stalls?

Download the Campus 2025 app and explore the map. On the map, you can select to display only the Food Options on the left side, making it easy to browse what’s available. In addition to the app, you can also find the Gastro Map in printed form in the Campus Festival Program Booklet.

LIDL Festival Market

The LIDL Festival Market has been a part of the Campus Festival for years. At the LIDL Festival Market, you’ll find over 300-400 products at store prices, and there are also daily discounts. The selection includes fresh vegetables, fruits, fresh baked goods, grilled items (which can also be prepared for you), ready meals, snacks, and drinks. There are also vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free alternatives.

Is there a free drinking water station?

There are several free water points at the festival. Among others, free water will be available in the HALL, in the Nagyerdei Water Tower, in the Red and White and in the toilets on the arrival level of the Nagyerdei Stadium.

Where can I return the 50 forint bottles?

We will provide more information about bottle returns and drop-offs as the festival approaches.

Can minors attend the Campus Festival?

At what age does my child need to buy a ticket? Minors under 14 can only attend the Campus Festival with a parent or an adult guardian. A ticket is required for children from the age of 10.

If I’m going with a child under 10, what kind of wristband will they get?

If your child is under 10, bring their ID card to verify that they are eligible for free entry. In this case, they will receive the same type of wristband that the parent purchased for themselves.

I’m going to the festival with my child, what programs are available for kids?

Look for the Campus Kid + Art Zone on the festival grounds, open daily from 12:00 to 20:00.

Is there a childcare service?

Yes, at the UNIFIT Center’s separate room, we operate a children's entertainment service with responsible caretakers every evening, so you as parents can enjoy a concert without your child, while they have fun in a safe place.

Can I buy Campus merch products?

Yes, look for the Campus Merch Shop on the festival map, where we have the coolest campus gear waiting for you. If you can’t wait, visit the UD Shop website and find your favorite merch: UD Shop.

Festival Information Point

If you're looking for something, have any questions or complaints, the staff at the Festival Information Point, located after the main entrance, will be happy to assist you.

Where should I drop off something I found? Where should I search for something I lost?

Lost items are collected at the Festival Information Point between 12:00 and 2:00. After 2:00, you can drop off any found items or search for your lost belongings at the Lost & Found located at the Luggage Storage.

Is there a luggage storage service?

Yes, the luggage storage is located outside the festival grounds, in front of the entrance. Payment can only be made in cash. A ticket entitles you to one-time check-in and check-out.

Possible program changes

We reserve the right to make changes to the program. Our goal is to fully carry out the advertised program, but due to reasons beyond our control, changes may occur, such as the cancellation of a performer or any event, or changes to the schedule. In such cases, we cannot refund the ticket price, as the ticket is valid for the entire festival, not for individual events.
The event will take place even in bad weather.

I’m arriving by bike, where can I securely park it?

If you’re arriving by bike, use our secure bike storage service, which can be found near the ticket offices.

Can I buy tobacco products on the Campus grounds?

Yes, there is a National Tobacco Shop located within the festival area.

Take care of your surroundings!

The camping area is located in a wooded, forested area. While you're on the camping grounds, please ensure you don't harm the environment and take care of the wildlife!

Is camping available?

Yes, camping is available. To use the camping facilities, you need to purchase a Camping ticket/pass. The Camping ticket/pass is only valid in combination with a valid day ticket or pass for the festival! The Camping ticket/pass is personal and does not apply to a specific camping spot. Camping is only allowed with a tent. You must bring your own tent, as we cannot provide one.

What are the options for hygiene?

In the Camping area, there are designated shower and restroom facilities for use. These are shared spaces.

Can I charge my phone?

Yes, there are designated mobile charging stations where you can charge your phone.

Can I cook in the camping area?

It is prohibited to light fires, use gas cylinders, or use any fire- or explosion-risk equipment in the Camping area. There are no communal kitchens or household appliances available.

Can I drive my car into the camping area?

No, unfortunately, this is not possible. The camping area is within the festival grounds and cannot be accessed by car.

I am experiencing a health problem, who can I turn to?

If you experience a health problem, turn to the medical and ambulance supervision operating 24/7 on the festival grounds. You can find it on the map with the Public Interest marker color.

Take care of yourself!

Take care of yourself and those you came to the festival with. Drink plenty of water and pay attention to sun protection and nutritious food. Consume alcohol in moderation. It's worth taking a break from the party from time to time to get some fresh air, which will also help to make the next day less painful.

Take care of others!

Take care of your fellow festival-goers! If one of your friends or a stranger near you feels unwell, don't leave them alone, call for help. Turn to the medical and ambulance supervision operating 24/7 on the festival grounds, or ask for help from the staff or security service.

What to do in case of a storm, extreme weather, or emergency?

The organizers will do everything possible to inform the public in advance of any potentially arriving extreme weather. In such cases, we strongly ask you to remain calm and follow the instructions of the security service and festival staff, which will be in accordance with the festival's Security Plan. In case of temporary stormy weather, the covered stands of the Nagyerdei Stadium provide shelter, and access to them is provided through the high walkways and the stadium's open gates. In some cases, it may be necessary to evacuate the festival area – we will provide information about this through loudspeakers, screens, and staff. In this case, please leave the festival area immediately. It is especially important that you familiarize yourself with the location of the emergency exits and escape routes upon arrival at the festival.

The Campus location is situated in a beautiful wooded area next to the Nagyerdei Stadium.

Debrecen is Hungary's second-largest city and the fastest-growing county seat in the country. With its largest rural arena, swimming pool, most modern beach, university, Reformed church, and growing population, it attracts attention.

In terms of transportation, it is ideally located. You can arrive by train, bus, car via the highway, or even by plane.

From Budapest, take the M3 highway and then the M35 highway directly to Debrecen, exit at the Debrecen-Nyugat sign. From Szeged, take Route 47, from Nyíregyháza, take Route 4, and from Miskolc, the M35 highway leads to Debrecen.
